Ya know...I love Wood !

I love everything about it !

I love the feel, the smell,

even the taste of it !

I hope it shows in the Art Work I produce.

I first got into carving Hummingbirds ,

as they would always

visit Me whenever I was outside

Building a Garden Bench,

Sculpture

out weeding the flower garden.

Always Welcome company !

These truly Fascinating

li'l creatures amaze Me

with their

agility and speed,

and the ease with which they

control their flight .

Yes, I have plenty of feeders around too,

which entices them to play at My house.

So enchanted I was at their visits each year,

I got the urge to reproduce

some of these Hummingbirds

out of Wood.

It turned out that I had some talent,

or so I'm told.

From there,

came

the other LifeSized,Lifelike

Wild Birds I lovingly create.

The American

Bald Eagle,

Majesticly landing its prey !

Red Cardinals,

Robins,

and

of course

My lil Hummingbird

Friends,

all

with

Wings Wide Open,

and

Ready to

Fly into Your life !!!
